Self Defense Walking Stick Caution

I offer custom made self-defense sticks for customers who might appreciate the added heft and functionality if they ever encounter a challenging situation. These sticks have become quite popular with some of my clients, but caution is recommended if this is your chosen walking stick.
The Self Defense Stick is heavier than a typical walking stick. Steel is embedded in the resin at the base of the shaft, making it balanced about halfway down. A handle grip and stopper knot are attached to the base end, allowing the handle to be used as a strike point if needed.
If you are considering a Self Defense Stick though, bear in mind that the added weight makes it less suitable for prolonged use unless you have strong wrist and forearm.
If you need a walking stick for extended daily use, I recommend opting for the standard, lighter version.
However, if the walking stick is intended as a short to medium-term aid during recovery from an injury or procedure and is meant to become part of a household's arsenal of defensive tools (perhaps kept behind the bedroom door), then it is an excellent stealth weapon.
