The Self Defence Stick offers all the wonderful benefits of The Stick.
Standard finish of the shaft is a chocolate brown polyurathane (3 coats) semi gloss finish to give the stick an aged cane appearance.
With a Self Defense Stick you get a steel rod epoxy set into the bottom 25% of the core of the bamboo shaft to give extra heft and super strength. This also balances the walking stick more or less to the middle of the shaft.
In addition there is a stopper knot and non slip handle at the base end of the shaft to provide a double ended optional swing in the event that the handle is the preferred strike point.
Disadvantages of the Self defence Stick are that it is approximately 150 gms heavier than  the standard stick so a strong wrist is required for long term use.
Note that extra delivery time is required because these are made from scratch.
